This cd has 24 songs from the book "Music of the Alaska/Klondike Gold Rush. The music is performed by folk singers, music- theater performers and the Fairbanks Light Opera Show Case.

The book contains almost 100 songs, with words and music, that were written about the gold rush or sung during the gold rush as recorded in diaries and other accounts. The book includes many familiar Gay Nineties and folk tunes still popular today.
